Block and Bridle Veterinary Service

Buyer Beware
When buying a new horse, it is important to make a well informed decision.  Overall health and soundness are two of the most important factors to consider when buying a new horse.  Potential issues that may have been previously undiagnosed can significantly alter the athletic ability of a given horse and its intended use.
In addition to health and soundness, current and intended use of the horse, disposition, vices and pertinent medical history should be considered.

At Block & Bridle Veterinary Service, we recommend that a pre-purchase exam be performed prior to buying any new horse.  This will ensure that you are given all of the necessary information to make an informed decision.
