Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Colin has been in the horse world since he was seven years old. What started with barrel racing and pole bending quickly grew into much more. Colin worked as an exercise rider at Hawthorne Race Track and at a therapeutic riding center in Chicago. Colin then moved to Kentucky where he continued working as an exercise rider at race tracks. In 2023, Colin moved to Colorado with his horse, Avalon, to attend college at Colorado State University. Colin is able to develop skills and knowledge as a veterinary assistant at Block and Bridle, while pursuing a double major in Equine Science and Animal science. Following graduation with his bachelor's degrees, Colin has a goal of attending veterinary school. Colin's attention to detail and hard work ethic have made him an asset at Block and Bridle.
Colin enjoys helping horses and their owners in all stages of their lives and careers. Colin assists doctors with all equine procedures and ensures that clients receive thorough care and have enjoyable visits at Block and Bridle.
When not facilitating patient care, Colin enjoys taking care of "high maintenance horses" and spending time outside with his horse.
