Born in South Carolina to a military family, Mel Serna moved to Colorado as a young girl.  She attended William Penn University in Iowa for undergraduate education.  With a knack for numbers and math, Mel has been employed as banker and office manager for multiple companies.  Prior to starting at Block and Bridle in 2016, Mel was the office manager at Gold Buckle Enterprises/ C Note Partnership.  This provided Mel with the foundation to work in the equine industry.

From appointment scheduling to client communication, Mel is passionate about customer service.  Mel strives to ensure that every client has a positive experience at Block and Bridle, from start to finish.

In her spare time, Mel enjoys throwing competitive darts and spending time with her friends and family.  Mel shares her Greeley home with her three dogs, Rosie, Reggie, and Ruby.
