Originally from Pennsylvania, Sadie moved to Kersey, Colorado at a young age. Her interest in horses started growing at a young age. Her grandfather bred and raised Quarter Horses so she was exposed to the equine world at a young age. Participation in 4-H grew her skills and passion for horses.
After high school, Sadie obtained an internship at the prestigious Hagyard Medical Institute in Lexington, Kentucky. It is here that her love for veterinary medicine bloomed. Upon returning to Colorado, she began work as a veterinary assistant at Bridge Street Veterinary Clinic in Brighton. While working in small animal medicine, she longed to rejoin the equine veterinary world. Sadie has been an important member of the Block and Bridle support staff since 2024. Whether facilitating appointment efficiency or assisting with patient care, Sadie is sure to have a smile on her face.
When not assisting in procedures, Sadie enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying the Colorado outdoors. Sadie shares her home with two dogs, Freckles and Fergie, and one cat, Fiona.
