As a Colorado native, Marisa Johnson was born and raised in the Windsor area.  As long as she can remember, Marisa has been loving and riding horses.  In 2017, Marisa graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.  Marisa returned to CSU in 2019 to start a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Science.  As part of the degree program, Marisa began an externship at Block and Bridle.  Due to her hard work and ability to grow within the practice, Marisa was hired as a full time veterinary assistant.

Marisa enjoys helping horses and their owners in all stages of their lives and careers.  Marisa assists doctors with all equine procedures and ensures that clients have thorough and enjoyable visits to Block and Bridle.

When not facilitating patient care, Marisa enjoys riding her horse, Payday, and spending time with her friends and family.
